Irene Vanderfeesten is an assistant professor in Business Process Management and Information Systems. She is a member of the Information Systems group of the department of Industrial Engineering and Innovation Sciences at Eindhoven University of Technology.

Her research interest include: workflow management, business process modelling, product based workflow, business process metrics, human aspects of information systems, process modelling guidelines.

The paper "The effect of modularity representation and presentation medium on the understandability of business process models in BPMN" co-authored with Oktay Turetken, Tessa Rompen, Ahmet Dickici and Jan van Moll was accepted to the BPM 2016 conference in Rio de Janeiro!
